These are the companies that process data on behalf of Summia to provide you with the service. We notify you at least 30 days before any addition or replacement (data processing agreement, Article 7).
List of subprocessors
| Subprocessor | What it does for Summia | Data involved | Place of processing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Scaleway SAS (France) | Hosting of the application, database, files, and backups; sending of service emails | All service data | France (Paris region) |
| Google Cloud, Vertex AI service | Responding to requests sent to Summia’s AI, transcribing dictations, generating background images | Requests, the structure of documents, and a few sample values per column; files attached to requests and dictation recordings | European Union |
Signing in with Google or Microsoft
If you choose “Continue with Google” or “Continue with Microsoft,” that provider confirms your identity. It does not act as a subprocessor of Summia: you are the one who chooses to use it.
Freely licensed background images
When you ask for a freely licensed background image, Summia searches for it on Wikimedia Commons, which is hosted in the United States. Only your search terms are sent there, never your document. Wikimedia Commons is not a subprocessor of Summia: it is a public image library.
AI model training
None of these subprocessors uses your data to train AI models.
